Ally and Derek’s wedding was first for many things for us at HDM. Most notably, it was the first time we had ever been to a wedding that was rained out. I think Ally and Derek took it VERY well… these two are very bright and positive people. They never showed anything other than concern for their guests when many other would have lost it. These two kept their composure and their smiles through the whole thing and we have some very beautiful footage to show for it. Anyway, during all this I had this crazy idea that I wanted to create a “Different” type of video for them… I wanted to put a spin on the traditional wedding video and have some fun. I present to you (another HDM first) the first ever Wedding Highlight REMIX! Enjoy!

p.s. Kim refers to this as a wedding video on crack… I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not, you tell me!

The Highlights of Amyand Paul’s wedding, married 6/26/10. Amy and Paul had such a beautiful wedding! The church and reception hall where gorgeous! Mark and Jared from Freestyle Entertainment did an AMAZING job (as always) on the decor lighting which made for GREAT video! Their pink uplighting was a major ingredient to one of my favorite ring shots of all time! I was SOOO stoked when I found out Amy and Paul where Ray Lamontagne fans, I couldn’t wait to put their highlight video together with one of my favorite tunes of all time! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Caudillo!

Irma and Douglas are two of the coolest folks out there. They really know how to throw a party and have a good time. We really felt like we where guests at their wedding and not just vendors. It’s was a beautiful day and I think we really got lucky with the weather being an outdoor ceremony.

Wow! Everything fell right into place on this one! We could not have asked for a better day. Everything was so well planned and executed. It helps to have a great team! The entire Premier Event Specialists group was on board for this wedding. Oleta from Flourishing Art on florals, Freestyle Entertainment on decor lighting, entertainment, and emceeing. Artisan Photography capturing art, and of course the HDM team as well! Not to mention Brenna and her staff at Seven Oaks Country Club who all did a wonderful job!

Amanda and Brandon are such an amazing couple to work with! They both had us cracking up the entire time and the camera just LOVES Amanda! We had the pleasure of working along site Tim and Jen Culpepper of Artisan Photography, who did such an amazing job! Westlake Village Inn was gorgeous and we really could not have asked for better weather… especially in mid June! We are so glad they put their trust in us on their wedding day. Thanks and congrats go out to the new Mr. and Mrs!

Where do we begin with these two. The Electric Slide, the hit television show ‘Glee’, “Boutonniering” lessons, these are just a few of the things that come to mind when I think back on the fun filled day that was their wedding. Emily and Daniel are two very genuine and kind individuals. We loved getting to know them while producing their “True Love Story” and had a wonderful time with them on their wedding day. It was nice working along side Jessica Frey and Peter Wonderly with his sweet Vintage Bentley. Congrats goes out to the new Mr. and Mrs!

We where hired as a surprise to Brooke by her sweet Grandmother as a wedding gift. Talk about an awesome Grandmother, right? I wish someone had gotten me a videographer as a wedding present some 7 almost 8 years ago! That’s right, I didn’t have a wedding videographer at my own wedding… and yes, I realize the irony of that statement. Believe me, I think about it every day… wishing I hadn’t passed on a professional, instead opting to have a family member shoot my wedding in an effort to save money. Sadly, a decision that I would be ‘paying’ for the rest of my life! Moral of the story, budget for a professional videographer… or have an amazing Grandmother who loves you enough to hire one for you as a surprise wedding present.

Anyway, Brooke was excited to say the least when we showed up to her house the morning of her wedding. It was a great day, a little on the warm side, but beautiful never the less. Joey was blessed with a VERY generous best man who offered up his ranch to be the perfect location of their wedding. We are very grateful to have been there to capture their wedding day for them. Congratulations Brooke and Joey!

What an incredible and eventful two days! This highlight film does not even begin to do justice to the chain of events that occurred over just the last two days that we where there. For those who are not familiar with Indian weddings, particularly with Punjabi weddings, the festivities occur across several days. We covered the events on the last two days, such as the sangeets and the ceremony and reception themselves. It was very difficult to narrow down the amount of amazing shots from this wedding into just one highlight video! I’m sure Jaimeet and Raj will be receiving at least a double disc if not triple disc set for their actual full edit wedding video.

We had such a great time working with Raj and Jaimeet! South Asian culture is so interesting and COLORFUL! Not to mention one of my favorite parts, the music and Bhangra! Something I would love to learn some day! We feel honored to have been part of their wedding! Congrats again to the new Mr. and Mrs!

We where so privileged to work with Ari and Jake on their wedding day! They had a fabulous wedding party that really knew how to have a good time! Ari was recently a bridesmaid a few weeks ago at Natalie and Mark’s wedding and she looked beautiful then, but was absolutely STUNNING as the bride herself! Their wedding was held at the beautiful Rio Bravo Country Club on a gorgeous day! We also had a lot of help from Sharon of With Love Photography. Thanks to the new Mr. and Mrs. for choosing HDM to capture your wedding day!

What a great time we had with Andrea and Brett!!! They really had a wonderful wedding! We had a hard time keeping our cameras still during the ceremony with all the laughing. These two really have a wonderful sense of humor! It really will be a ceremony that will not easily be forgotten by all of those who where in attendance. Thanks to Andrea and Brett for letting us be a part of your special day!

We were SO privileged to be apart of Ally and Derek’s wedding. It was out first time shooting in the newly renovated Padre Hotel. That place is totally awesome! Derek and Allyson are such a fun loving couple, they really soaked in every minute of the day, always smiling, just so anxious to finally be married! They had a VERY beautiful and unique ceremony at The Kern County Museum! Although it did start raining at the end of their ceremony, it did not stop these two from having an incredible wedding.

A few people I have shown this to have asked about the pool balls… if you look hard, it’s their wedding date! Stay tuned, as we will be posting some more from their wedding soon! We are trying something a little different and we are anxious to share it with the world!
